Spring 2026 Sacred Spaces Organic Certification & Access Intern

The intern will focus primarily on researching, documenting, and supporting the organic certification process for an urban farm operating in the Lower East Side of Detroit. Through this work, the intern will help create a replicable, access-centered template that demystifies organic certification for small-scale, beginner and resource-constrained urban farms.
Who is eligible to apply?

OCN internships are open to undergraduate and graduate students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals exploring work in organic agriculture.

Are internships paid?

 Yes. All internships are paid opportunities. Each host organization sets compensation rates.

Can I apply to more than one internship?

Yes. Applicants may apply to multiple positions during the same cycle.

Do I have to attend the cohort sessions?

Yes. All interns are required to attend four virtual sessions, including a final presentation.
