Winter 2026 Farmer Advocacy Intern

OFA is looking for a self-motivated individual interested in grassroots policy development and organic farming policy and issues. The internship will be a hybrid format, primarily remote but with occasional in-person meetings, as our Policy Director works in Washington, D.C. out of a home office.
Who is eligible to apply?

OCN internships are open to undergraduate and graduate students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals exploring work in organic agriculture.

Are internships paid?

 Yes. All internships are paid opportunities. Each host organization sets compensation rates.

Can I apply to more than one internship?

Yes. Applicants may apply to multiple positions during the same cycle.

Do I have to attend the cohort sessions?

Yes. All interns are required to attend four virtual sessions, including a final presentation.
